SPOOKY HAPPENNINGS - SAD TIMES.

MICHAEL JACKSON AUGUST 29th 1958 - JUNE 25th 2009
The recent news really has been a downer and the scariest thing for me has got to be what i was doing when i heard the news, yes i was playing this game Michael Jackson's Moonwalker influenced by the angry video game nerd himself.

R.I.P. MIKE THANKS YOU FOR THE MUSIC.

Indeed, here come the men in black.

"I make this look good"

After browsing through the music channels today in an effort for entertainment, i came across that smooth music video for will smith's men in black and i pondered the idea of a third installment, i googled this and as predicted the film is in the works, rumoured to be set for a summer 2011 release, sadly Sony has yet to announce any of the cast but surely Mr Smith would be making a return. They also have Spiderman 4 and Ghostbusters 3 in the pipeline, which has been knowledgeable for some time. Looks like summer 11 is going to be intEResting.... perhaps.

THNKS FR TH MMRS

1995, the first Disney Pixar movie hits out screens, computer animation begins its reign and what a way to start. Clearly a piece of childhood genius and here we are back with the third! i say BRING IT ON! but sadly we have a bit of a wait on our hands.

"IM IN UR CIGARETZ GETTIN' LUNG CANCR"

cats FTW!

an acquired taste... very acquired for some.

dunno how i feel about it

WELL i cried when it ended, but now that all seems in vain as apparantly deals have been closed to bring it back for its ninth series, now i'll be the first to admit Scrubs went on a little bit of a downer in these later seasons, something was different or missing maybe because ABC took it over but whatever it's back...
Zach Braff (JD) has signed up for the first six episodes as well as Sarah Chalke(Elliot) apparently a way to make the transition for the brand new protagonist or summit like that whoever it is they will be accompanied by old faves Donald Faison(Turk), John C. McGinley(Dr Cox) and Neil Flynn (The *MINDF^CK* Janitor) who have signed up as regulars, Judy Reyes (Carla) has yet to be approached. Whatever happens i'll be tuning in as a devoted fan but will be sad to see a lack of vanilla and Brown bear's antics.

this is my BLACK ALBUM... my BACK album.

If jay z can do it...

hey its moi back from well... my other commitments i guess. Yes well A-Levels are reaching a wonderful close as i'm about to take my last exams, so expect back to back posts to start within the next month.

This is my back album cover...

"what now obama? Your own pair of jordans, seriously?"

president of the united.... courts?

Yes 'Airbamas' they exist (or their actual name Barack Obama Inauguaration edition Air Jordan Pure Pressure PE basketball shoes), just another example of how big an impact this president has made, he gets his own pair of jordans. As shown above Atlanta Hawks' *MY TEAM* point guard Mark Bibby got the honour of wearing them on the 20th january this year.

What next - his own mixtape? hmmm or maybe a collaboration with tay zonday?

and the jaws dROP!

STOP ABUSING THE FRANCHISE!

Now there are a lot of things that annoy me in life, one of them being the ridiculous use of the star wars franchise just to make money, so when im waiting for my bus to go to college one day and i see this ---

on the side of one of our many beloved london double decker buses, a fan of my calibur's jaw does indeed drop. Now i haven't seen the musical - Yet- i may add. But i have to ask how can such serious battles like the fight for endor or when luke confronts Darth Vader for the first time in episode V be conveyed in a musical, I dont care how funny it is to see stormtroopers dance in sync -although its pretty jokes- this is wrong and just another money making scheme for the star wars merchandisers, come on guys dont do this anymore i'd prefer episodes VII, VIII and IX.

TOKYOOOOOOOOOOOO... POP!

Dont you open that trap door!

TOKYO ZOMBIE!
described as 'the Japanese Shaun of the dead' which if not used loosely is enough to get me to watch it. and i did. and the verdict is? i liked it! Now im someone who's into lots different forms of cinema, world cinema more so of recent due to my Takashi miike phase, so decided to give this film a chance and im glad i did. Its use of typical japanese humour which to many may seem a bit odd really kept me entertained as well as the obvious inclusion of zombies which always provides the cheesey 'laffs', the two main characters as shown above not only look hilarious but are just as funny in the film, the narrative itself is just as crazy but in an imaginitive way that provides even more 'laffs', released in japanese cinemas in 2005 and only now making it to uk dvd - i say this is something of a cult favourite, which always gets me on board! it gets the stamp of CULT CLASSIC.

OBAMA teams up with... spidey?

Has there been a cooler president?

this week held homage to the inauguration of Barrack Obama and to many in the world the mans a superhero, and here he is now next to another hero: spidey. As well as his own Graphic novel biography; Presidential Material:BARACK OBAMA.

The American public’s hunger for seeing their new President in comic books apparently knows no bounds.

Both Marvel and IDW have announced that their respective comics with Obama in them (Amazing Spider-Man #583 and Presidential Material: Barack Obama, respectively) are going back to the printer. Amazing Spider-Man #583, which received huge national attention has sold thorugh three print runs worth of issues in three weeks, while the IDW Obama biography has been on sale in comics shops since before the election, and was paired with an issue that focused on John McCain – the latter still in its first printing. “For some reason, the John McCain comic hasn't sold quite as well,” IDW Publisher Chris Ryall noted on his blog.

What a G! and he's still yet to appear in marvel's Thunderbolts #128

Lost: A theory on Time Travel

24 Jan 2009

Im'a be big one day, you'll see!

Hollywooooood kid!

Came across this little gem of a website on my travels recently, really is summit of interest. Basically it allows you to create your own short movies over an internet browser, therefore you write the script, pick the voices, camera angles, setting and all that jizz. Try it out, its pretty neat.

Makadamovie!

*the voices crack me up*

the first should be fresh...

tiger uppercut, hadouken and a whole lot'a memories.

no matter who you are, i wouldn't believe you if you were to tell me you dont know street fighter.
Whether back in the day your weekends were spent mindlessly over a sega mega drive or watching your best mate play super mario on his gameboy hoping he'd let you at least touch the cartridge, street fighter would have at some point crossed your travels.
Possibly the most favourable fighting game of all time is back and its ready to give selflessly to all the new, young fans as well as keeping all the oldies from leaving for work in the morning.
With a release date for 20/02/09 on 360 and PS3 this game is sure to bring us all back to those times we soooo enjoyed.

*i know who im picking... neither of these two*

Why not?

"I wanted to play around with the format, really tear it to pieces and shake it up."

A very powerful quote from 'Sir' David Hasselhoff... yes him. Wise and inspiring words for the nightrider but then again he's the same guy that based a song around the phrase "Jump in my car" so there i doubt it was him who said that.

Yeh this blog is mine - all mine, a place where i can rant, brag and hopefully draaag ur attention away from your busy lives.
So if your interested in a load of unnecessary knowledge amusing to me and most likely only me :P then please keep up the visits i'll try to entertain you during those moments you get every so often where your just not sure what the f*^% to do.

Cheers -_- Drake
